Itinerary:
Transport only: You will be met at your property in Santa Marta at your chosen start time. You will be driven to the Minca. Experience Minca at your own pace and spend your time as you wish. Your driver will be waiting for you at the end of the day to return you to Santa Marta.
Minca & Sierra Nevada: You will be met at your property in Santa Marta at your chosen start time. This option offers a variety of experiences in the Sierra Nevada, including a visit to an indigenous village community, a brief visit to a coffee plantation, hikes around the pools and waterfalls of Río Minca, and a tasting session of the locally produced chocolate that Colombia is rapidly becoming famous for. After the tour you will be returned to your start point.
Minca & Hacienda La Victoria: You will be met at your property in Santa Marta at your chosen start time. The tour includes a guided visit to Minca followed by a visit to the historic Hacienda La Victoria coffee plantation. Learn about premium 100% arabica sustainable coffee production with this relatively small scale grower. Afterwards you return to your property in Santa Marta.
Duration: These tour options last approximately 8-10 hours.
Start time: All listed options are feasible.
Guide: The Minca & Sierra Nevada and Minca & Hacienda La Victoria options include an English speaking local guide. Drivers will be Spanish speaking.
Meals: Not included with the transport only option. Guided options include lunch.

Note that Parque Tayrona has frequent closures throughout the year to recover from tourism. If you see such a range of blocked dates in the calendar it is because the park is closed.

Our online booking system depends on having reliable data for the pick up location, otherwise we will not be able to locate you on the day of your tour. Guests are responsible for entering this correct information in order to provision their tour. Please contact us if you need any help with information relating to your location.

Our website manages a database of over 4000 hotels in Colombia. Names and addresses have been cleaned, corrected and recorded in a consistent manner. Pick up location is an autocomplete field so entering the first few letters of your hotel name will provide the full name and correct address if it is in our database. This is the easiest way to ensure you have the correct address.
Inclusion in our database does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement. It only means that we were able to establish the correct name and address for the property. Hotels are city specific, you will only be shown possible pick up locations that relate to the tour that you are booking.
Our website will allow you to enter any address into the pick up location field but please bear in mind that if you are staying in a hotel and it does not automatically complete the name, this is probably because we were unable to determine the correct address and you might also have the incorrect address.
Remote hotels
Some of our tours do not require transport, some tours have different prices depending on where you book them from.
Hotels sometimes seek to capitalise on their proximity to certain locations by claiming to be in towns and cities when they are not within walking distance. For example, a hotel claiming to be in Salento could be on the Autopista del Café.
Please check a map before booking. If you book a walking tour from a location that requires transport your tour will fail our validation checks. Likewise if you book a tour from one area but your hotel is in a different area.

AirBnB
AirBnB almost always stores Colombian addresses incorrectly. Please check the correct address with your host before making a booking on our site.
Other private residences
Our website will allow you to enter any private address. Please bear in mind that we require the full street address, the building name if applicable and any unit or apartment number.
Airports
Some tours will allow you to select a local airport as the pick-up location and these tours have been configured with inbound and outbound flights. Simply select your flights from the list. Choosing “None” will allow you to enter the details of a hotel in the same city.
