Details
Palmarí is a leader in Amazon ecotourism, it boasts friendly and knowledgable guides, and superb ecological and conservation credentials.
Itinerary: Aside from arrival and departure there is no set itinerary. The full range of day and night activities are available to you for the duration of your stay.
Start time: Start time will be your flight’s arrival time in Leticia or Tabatinga airport. If you choose to be collected from a hotel in Leticia we will contact you to confirm the pick up time.
Guide: You will be able to take advantage of the reserve’s excellent guide services and any activity available. Normally Palmarí has English speaking volunteers on site to accompany you. If you would like to confirm the availability of English speaking companions for your dates then please contact us.
Accommodation: You will stay in communal jungle style accommodation with hammocks or mattresses depending on your choice. Both accommodation options include mosquito nets and washroom facilities.
Meals: All meals are included, as are snacks during activities, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Transport: All prices shown include meet and greet service at either Leticia or Tabatinga airport, alternatively you can be picked up at Leticia hotels. The price includes return transfers by river and/or land to the reserve.
Insurance: Guests benefit from all-risks insurance for the duration of their stay.
Entrances: The price does not include entrances to the privately operated nearby canopy activity.

Pick up locations
Our online booking system depends on having reliable data for the pick up location, otherwise we will not be able to locate you on the day of your tour. Guests are responsible for entering this correct information in order to provision their tour. Please contact us if you need any help with information relating to your location.
Hotels
Our website manages a database of over 4000 hotels in Colombia. Names and addresses have been cleaned, corrected and recorded in a consistent manner. Pick up location is an autocomplete field so entering the first few letters of your hotel name will provide the full name and correct address if it is in our database. This is the easiest way to ensure you have the correct address.
Inclusion in our database does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement. It only means that we were able to establish the correct name and address for the property. Hotels are city specific, you will only be shown possible pick up locations that relate to the tour that you are booking.
Our website will allow you to enter any address into the pick up location field but please bear in mind that if you are staying in a hotel and it does not automatically complete the name, this is probably because we were unable to determine the correct address and you might also have the incorrect address.
Remote hotels
Some of our tours do not require transport, some tours have different prices depending on where you book them from.
Hotels sometimes seek to capitalise on their proximity to certain locations by claiming to be in towns and cities when they are not within walking distance. For example, a hotel claiming to be in Salento could be on the Autopista del Café.
Please check a map before booking. If you book a walking tour from a location that requires transport your tour will fail our validation checks. Likewise if you book a tour from one area but your hotel is in a different area.

AirBnB
AirBnB almost always stores Colombian addresses incorrectly. Please check the correct address with your host before making a booking on our site.
Other private residences
Our website will allow you to enter any private address. Please bear in mind that we require the full street address, the building name if applicable and any unit or apartment number.
Airports
Some tours will allow you to select a local airport as the pick-up location and these tours have been configured with inbound and outbound flights. Simply select your flights from the list. Choosing “None” will allow you to enter the details of a hotel in the same city.

So amazing, kayaking around with the pink dolphins trying to flip you over! Also great night walks in the forest, fishing for piranhas. Not forgetting the great guides, food and drinks!
