Join thousands of others for the happiest and most colourful celebration in Colombia’s annual calendar. Bogotá’s pride parade commences in Parque Nacional and continues along Avenida Séptima until it reaches Plaza Bolívar. And then the party really starts.

Soak up the ambience and surround yourself with the city’s most flamboyant people.

The parade includes floats and street performances including singers and dancers entertaining the crowds as they make their way south to Plaza Bolívar.

Orgullo Gay as it is known in Colombia happens every June in the capital Bogotá. Every year its numbers swell as people from all over the globe come to experience the event. It’s indicative of a rising trend in Bogotá – the emergence of a strong, united and integrated LGBT community.

Bogotá has earned plaudits from around the globe with expats and locals in Bogotá even going as far as to brand the city “The New Gay Capital of the World.” Are they right? You will have to come and see for yourselves.
